Tista

Beginning his djing career in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tista is a House DJ, who is all about giving the people a journey during his sets, using his variety of tastes and sounds in house music to make it a unique experience every time he performs.

Teaching himself to DJ in the Summer of 2010′, he got his break a couple months later to DJ a local show at the Rave for Halloween and then kept grinding small shows there until he got to open in front of a sold out show for Rusko in February 12′ at the historic Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee with a crowd of over 4,500! Ever since, he’s been able to play infront of hundreds to thousands and opening up for the likes of top world DJs in the scene including: Hardwell, Steve Aoki, Flux Pavilion, Chris Lake, Wax Motif, Golf Clap, AC Slater, Weiss, Zeds Dead, Jauz, Excision, and tours such as Bro Safari Animal House Tour, Life in Color, Safe in Sound Festival, HDY Nation Tour and more! Tista has also been able to spread his reach, having played in some top clubs Chicago, formerly Club Addé in Mexico City , and getting selected to DJ for the pre-parties in Cocoa Beach, FL for Holy Ship 8.0 Cruise Music Festival back in January 2017.

In Nov. 2018 Tista and GetMoses started on a unique collaboration set to be something different in Milwaukee, combining diverse dance music, live art, and bringing awareness to different local organizations while trying to encourage and raise donations. Non-Pop! was born and launched originally at Bad Genie, but 6 years later Non-Pop! has performed at multiple venues around town including currently at Nomad World Pub. It has performed at Summerfest in 24’, & 23’, along with the first Night Market this 24’ season.

Tista also signed and released his first official two-track EP on Nov. 19′ with ‘Banana Whale Records’ in the Netherlands, launching his career into the music production side as well.

Besides his energy and crowd interaction, Tista is always bringing out the best and latest music while combining his own touch and style to make sure the crowd is always excited to hear him play and remembering that unique and infectious style he brings to always keep the people moving!
